I don't get it... People say god created the world and people but how could he of created people and stuff if they were here on earth before god was even born.

Is this a joke?

God was never 'born'. God just existed. End of story.

god is a figment of out imagination that people that were smarter than us made us believe so people would have a reason to do good, and not act bad while on earth. a simple prize at the end of our life would cause people during their real life to act and behave as good as possible.

god WAS created, or well the idea of god was created after man existed, but there is no way that we are created by a higher being...

Because of religion, the bane of the human race.

I have to step in here and say a few things:

God created everything we have and are.

Now, God isn't a person exactly, it's a form we cannot understand, everyone including atheists believe in some form of God, because the bottom line is everyone believes in some sort of creator, be it the God I believe in, or some sort of big bang.

I only hope all of you are intelligent and mature enough to understand that.

sorry serideth. big bang for me is not a "creator" as you call it. in my belive the big bang must have been some kind of wormhole maybe that blow out this universe from another time and space. i dunno. Hey clever clogs if the creation of this world and everything in it was accidental, that would make every living thing, including you, and accident too.

Creator, and God, are not the same words, God is far too wrapped up with religious crap to be valid at the point, a 'creator' can be anything, an object, a person, an event, to label a creator "god" would be to drag it into religion, something which i have absolutely no belief in what-so ever.
What exactly has religion given us?, wars?, racism?, segrigation?, extremists, fanatics and hoards of idiots trying to force what they believe onto other people, and yet millions fall into it, just like millions think calling up a tv priest and donating their cash will in some way buy them favor.

It's idiotic and exploited at every given oppertunity, religion was created to make humans feel better about things they couldnt understand, to give them a feeling of order in all the chaos, and to ease the fear of death..

and it's all bull****, when you die that's it, your dead, "mommy went to heaven" is hard to explain to your kids when mommys bones get dug up 10 years later to make way for a new appartment complex.

As for the soul, there is none, it's memory, and just like a stick of ram when you **** it up it dies.. if you smash a stick of ram with a hammer the data on it doesnt float up to the heavens to live on in happyness, it just ****ing dies, people need to accept that and actually move on.

Your logic is way whack. The big bang was an explosion of sorts and all it did in a way was bring the universe to existence and release a lot of energy.
God is known as one who created the universe, the wolds, an life.
God is a being of higher form, above a being. The big bang is not related to god.

Little Boy and Fat Man created destruction and death. They are not Gods, but they did create something. If god could create life one can create death.
